With Filefjellstuene as your base, everything is in place for great skiing days – whether you're looking forward to the first turns of winter or taking the family on a skiing holiday.
From mountain lodge to ski slope
At Tyin Filefjell Ski Center you will find five lifts, 17 kilometers of slopes and a separate children's area with a lift and ski band. There is room for both the first cautious turns and skiers who want a little more challenge, with views of the peaks of Jotunheimen.
From Filefjellstuene it is a short walk to the slopes. When Tørisheisen and its associated slopes are open, you can ski in/out from the hotel. The rest of the season the ski center is a short drive away.
Ski days on your terms
If you need equipment, you will find ski rental and ski service in the Skishop at the base of Børrenøsheisen. If you want a good start or help developing your technique, the ski school offers private lessons in skiing and snowboarding.
After a day on the slopes, it's good to come back to Filefjellstuene. Find peace in your room, gather the family in the cabin or apartment, or book a warm end to your skiing day in our sauna.
