CONDITIONS FOR RENTING RENTAL UNITS, PURCHASING ACTIVITIES, LIFT TICKET, COMPANIES/CONFERENCES
Our terms regarding ordering, payment, change, cancellation, insurance, rights, obligations, reservations and privacy. These general terms and conditions apply to goods and services purchased from Tyin Filefjell AS and wholly or partly owned subsidiaries / business entities (hereinafter referred to as "TF") and others who enter into an agreement with TF in accordance with the confirmation (the guest).
The terms of sale, together with your order, confirmed by an order confirmation, constitute the entire contractual basis for the purchase. These provisions apply as a binding contract for all goods and services purchased or ordered via www.tyin.no or the Tyin app, via our booking telephone, directly from an agent, etc., and for stays at our rental units, both owned and arranged on behalf of others. The order may apply to accommodation, lift tickets, activities and the purchase of other products and services, or a combination of these.
Where these terms of sale require written communication, this is fulfilled by using e-mail, SMS, letter, or similar.

1. ORDER
1.1. Anyone ordering on Tyin.no must be 18 years of age or older. This applies to all goods and/or services that can be ordered on the applicable website, except accommodation (j,f § 1.2).
1.2. When booking accommodation on Tyin.no, the person booking must be at least 18 years old? for self-owned units and 23 years old for external units. The tenant/booker must be 18/23 years old or older, this also applies to the person responsible for the cabin/apartment during the entire stay. Identification must be presented at check-in upon request. Should it turn out that the tenant is not 18/23 years old or older, the key / door code will not be handed out and the rental amount will not be refunded.
1.3. Before making a final order, you should read and familiarize yourself with important information about the product in question.
1.4. A booking is binding as soon as the booking is completed and a booking/order number is assigned to the guest. After a correctly completed booking, you will receive a receipt by email, provided that you have used a correct and valid email address. Please check your spam folder if you cannot see that you have received the receipt. The receipt will contain all details of your purchase. The guest must bring the confirmation (printed or online) with them upon arrival.
1.5. Check the confirmation you receive to ensure that it is in accordance with the booking. It is the guest's responsibility to check that the arrival and departure dates, as well as anything else that is relevant to the booking, are correct.
The order is not completed and not valid in the following cases:
– Orderer has not received an email with a receipt with a confirmation/reference number. If you have not received an order confirmation, please check your spam folder and make sure you have used a valid email address.
– Card payments are canceled for various reasons and the payment fails.
– The payment is not completed completely or correctly so that the amount is not deducted from the account.

1.6. TF disclaims any liability for any mistakes made by guests who have not followed our terms and conditions. The terms and conditions protect you as a guest, the accommodation and the seller as a distributor.
2. PAYMENT
2.1. Payment is made when the order is completed. TF is responsible for the transaction itself that goes through the website. If there are any problems with your payment card, we will contact you. If we cannot contact you, the order will be canceled. If the payment is not completed, the order will not be created.
All telephone bookings and bookings via booking@tyin.no require a 7-day payment deadline. If you book less than 21 days before arrival, payment must be made on the same day as booking. When booking via email or telephone, the invoice must be paid by the due date, 100% of the stay.
Payment information such as account number, IBAN and BIC/SWIFT is on the invoice sent. Always state the booking reference when paying and the KID number where available.
– If prepayment is not made upon check-in, we will require payment upon arrival. An additional administration fee may apply.
Our partner NETS is responsible for ensuring that credit card numbers and codes are handled securely in accordance with the requirements defined in the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). Only TF and the supplier of the product(s) you have ordered will have access to your name and contact information. For further information regarding privacy, please see our privacy policy. When booking by phone/directly, an invoice for the stay/activity will be sent according to the confirmation.
3. CANCELLATION AND CHANGE
The terms and conditions below apply to private individuals. For groups/conferences with more than 10 rooms/units or larger groups of over 20 people, there are separate cancellation terms. Please contact us by email booking@tyin.no
3.1. For your accommodation, dining, activities and equipment rental:
Deadline for cancellation and change of accommodation and other products purchased via www.Tyin.no, the Tyin app or telephone.
If cancellation or change occurs no later than 21 days before arrival, the full amount will be refunded.
If cancellation or change occurs less than 21 days, the following applies:
8-21 days 25% payment
4-7 days 50% payment
1-3 days 100% payment
“No-Show 100% payment
During the Christmas and New Year's weekend (20.12 - 05.01), weeks 7-10 and Easter week, the following applies:
14-21 days 50% payment
1-13 days 100% payment
“No-Show 100% payment
A change to your booking is considered a cancellation, and the same deadlines will apply. We reserve the right to change your booking, subject to availability.
3.2. For Tyin Aktiv/activities and under the auspices of TF, the following also applies:
3.2.1. Health information.
Participant(s) are obliged to inform about all health formalities that may have an impact on safety during the activity.
3.2.2 Risks associated with our activities
Participation in our activities/tours involves a certain risk of accidents and injuries. Participant(s) are obliged to comply with the activity leader(s)' instructions regarding safety for as long as the activity is in progress. Tyin Aktiv assumes no financial obligations as a result of damage to persons or equipment, unless the accident or mishap is due to gross negligence on the part of the activity leader.
3.2.3 In case of bad weather.
If the weather is too bad for the activity/trip you have booked, an alternative activity/trip will be offered. In the event of bad weather or poor conditions in the area/routes in question, Tyin Aktiv may have to change the activity/trip. Tyin Aktiv is then obliged to strive to ensure that the change causes the least possible inconvenience to the participant(s). In such cases, Tyin Aktiv will offer the participant(s) an alternative trip/activity during the same time period. The participant(s) will then pay for the trip/activity that is carried out. If Tyin Aktiv cannot offer an alternative activity/trip, the participant(s) has the right to have the entire registration fee refunded or, by agreement, to postpone the trip/activity. On kite courses, unsuitable wind can lead to poorer learning conditions. On this course, the registration fee is not refunded, but a new course that will cover any missing training from the completed course will be agreed.
3.2.4 In the event of illness of the activity leader.
In the event of illness or injury to an activity leader, Tyin Aktiv will endeavour to find a replacement with similar qualifications. Should we fail to do so, we may have to change or cancel the event. If Tyin Aktiv is unable to provide an alternative activity leader, the participant(s) is entitled to a full refund of the registration fee for the specific activity that is cancelled.
3.3 Bookings made after the cancellation deadline are therefore binding. Cancellations can be made online on “my page” or in writing to Tyin: booking@tyin.no. Changes to bookings must be made by phone +47 46 66 56 65 or by email to booking@tyin.no with subsequent confirmation of the change.
3.4. Insurance
TF does not offer travel or accident insurance for accommodation, or for our tours/activities. We recommend that all our customers arrange good insurance agreements before the trip, in case of illness, loss or damage to luggage, accident, liability and the like. In the event of illness/injury to the participant(s), their own travel or accident insurance must be used. Participants are obliged to disclose all health-related formalities that may be of importance for safety during the activity.
4. TENANT'S RESPONSIBILITY FOR ACCOMMODATION AND OTHER TERMS
4.1 We have a 20 year age limit for booking own rental units and a 23 year age limit for booking external rental units. Identification may be required at check-in/check-in.
4.2. Damage caused to the hotel, hotel room, apartment or cabin as a result of negligent or intentional conduct is the guest's responsibility. The tenant is obliged to treat the rental unit, inventory and equipment associated with the unit in such a way that no damage or unnecessary wear and tear occurs. Damage caused by the tenant to the unit must be replaced by the tenant. In the event of damaged inventory or equipment, vandalism/damage or self-inflicted triggering of a fire alarm that leads to an emergency, compensation will be required before departure, or possibly invoiced afterwards.
TF has the right to terminate the agreement with immediate effect if the guest or someone in his/her company acts disruptively and/or causes damage to the accommodation unit or the surrounding area, and if the accommodation unit is used for anything other than the agreed purpose. In cases where the agreement is terminated, the guest and company must immediately leave the accommodation unit, without the rental amount being refunded. If the agreement is terminated immediately as a result of the above reasons, TF will charge a sales tax corresponding to the damage, however at least NOK 5,000. TF reserves the right to close the accommodation unit and remove the guest's belongings in the event of immediate termination of the agreement.
4.3. The guest is obliged to follow the rules of order, instructions and regulations that apply to travel and accommodation. Between 23:00 and 07:00 the guest is obliged to be considerate and keep the noise level low out of consideration for other guests. Noise and disturbance in the rental unit that is a nuisance to our other guests will be reported. If the report is not followed, immediate eviction may be carried out. In such a situation, the rental amount will not be refunded.
4.4. The rental unit may only be occupied by the contractually agreed maximum number of persons.
4.5. Cleaning cabins and apartments:
Cleaning is included in the rental price for self-contained units.
For external devices there is a fee for washing.
Before departure, the tenant must put all dishes in - and put them in the dishwasher, remove trash and bottles from the apartment. The apartment must be cleaned and in order.
Bring all personal belongings. Before departure, all doors and windows should be closed.
Should the apartment be untidy and dirty, a cleaning fee of at least NOK 1,500 will be invoiced.
4.6. Bed linen in cabins and apartments: Bed linen and towels are included in the price of self-owned cabins and apartments. For external cabins, bed linen comes as an additional charge of NOK 175.- per set including towels.
4.7. Electricity is included in the price. Firewood is not included and must be ordered separately.
4.8. Pets may only be brought to those units where this is permitted, and payment for this has been agreed.
4.9. Smoking is prohibited in all our hotel rooms, cabins and apartments. We ask all our guests to respect this. In case of violations, you will be invoiced for the costs incurred, minimum NOK 2500.
4.10. The tenant is obliged to follow the regulations regarding keeping pets, smoking and the use of open fire. In case of violations, the tenant will be invoiced for the costs incurred, minimum NOK 2500.
4.11. All physical keys to the accommodation unit must be handed in upon departure. Failure to hand them in will result in a fee of NOK 3,000 for changing the locks (where there are mechanical locks).
4.12. Otherwise, see other applicable rules for each individual accommodation.
4.13. Lost and found items are kept for 1 month. The guest must arrange for shipping. The shipping note is sent to Tyin Filefjell by email. booking@tyin.no Otherwise, we only ship by cash on delivery with a fee of NOK 250,- for administration fee.

5. CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT
5.1. Check-in takes place at TF from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival. Check-out is by 11:00 AM on the day of departure, unless otherwise agreed. If the accommodation unit does not have electronic locks with a code that you will be sent automatically, then keys must be collected and delivered at the reception at Filefjellstuene unless otherwise informed. More information can be found in the booking confirmation, on Tyin.no or in the Tyin app.
5.2. Lift tickets and/or other products sold together in a package with accommodation are collected at Filefjellstuene or another location if agreed. For packages containing products such as ski equipment, snowshoes and the like, this equipment is collected at the ski rental in Børrenøse unless otherwise agreed.
6. TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR LIFT TICKET
6.1. Terms and conditions for post-payment of season tickets to Tyin Filefjell Ski Center
6.1.1. The season pass follows the ALF regulations: additional payment is due in the event of a shutdown* that has lasted more than one third of the season pass's validity period. The validity period of the season pass applies from the start of the ski resort's season to the end of the season. Additional payment applies to the ski days that could not be used during the remaining part of the season due to the shutdown. The number of days in the season is calculated from the ski resort's first ordinary opening day.
*Operation outages are outages caused by events beyond the control of the operations management, which could not be accounted for at the time of sale or the consequences of which could not be avoided. Operation outages such as wind, weather, snow conditions or unforeseen technical problems are not included.
6.1.2. Season tickets (full price / regular price) can be cancelled in accordance with the previous section. The arrival date of the season ticket is then calculated from when the card is activated in the lift for the first time. Season tickets that have not been activated can therefore be cancelled at any time during the season with the right to a full refund. Refunds after activation of the season ticket are not approved, except in cases where the regulations from ALF regarding downtime can be used, see section 3.5.1.
6.1.3. Season tickets (earlybird / discount) cannot be cancelled or refunded for any reason.
6.2 When you buy a lift ticket online at tyin.no you must have a keycard with a WTP code. The keycard is activated as your ticket when you first pass through the turnstile at the first lift you arrive at.
After correctly completing your online payment, you will receive a receipt by email. The receipt will contain all the details of your purchase and can be taken to the ski resort. Remember to check your spam folder/junk mail, in case the receipt is sent there.
The order is not completed and not valid in the following cases:
- The customer has not received an email with a receipt with a confirmation/reference number.
- Card payments are canceled for various reasons and the payment fails.
- The payment is not completed completely or correctly so that the amount is not deducted from the account.
If you need assistance, you can get help inside the Skishop in Børrenøse at the bottom of the Børrenø lift or the lift house at the bottom of the Tørisheisen.
6.3 The ski pass / lift pass is strictly personal, and shall not or cannot be transferred to others in any way. Any illegal transfer of the lift pass to another person will result in confiscation, regardless of whether the transfer was made intentionally or with premeditation. The user must be able to prove that he/she is the rightful holder of the card. The card must be shown upon inspection without being asked. Season passes are valid during regular opening hours from the beginning of the winter season to the end of the season.
6.4 Season passes without a photo are invalid. It must be possible to easily identify the holder of the card (eyes and face must be visible, no ski goggles, buff or similar).
6.5 An illegally transferred season ticket can be reopened once for a fee of NOK 2000. In the event of a second violation, the season ticket will be permanently confiscated.
6.6 Should you lose a season pass, a new one can be issued at Skishop Børrenøse for a fee of NOK 300 (incl. new keycard).
6.7 There is no right of return for lift tickets including keycards.
6.8 In the event of misuse or violation of the Alpine Safety Rules (see point 7), the lift pass may be confiscated without compensation.
6.9 No compensation will be given in the event of unforeseen downtime, for example due to bad weather, power outages, machine failures, etc. Parts of the trail network may be closed for periods of time and reserved for competition and training.
6.10 Keycard is mandatory for all types of cards due to contactless access system.
6.11 Children 0-6 years old with a helmet and accompanied by an adult ride the lifts for free. Must have a valid keycard.
6.12. Youth (7-17 years) and seniors (65+ years) purchase lift tickets at a reduced price. See current price lists at www.Tyin.no for price information.
6.13. Regarding age when purchasing a lift pass: The age at the time of purchase applies. For example, if the child turns 7 in January, the child can still use a 0-6 year lift pass for the entire season if the lift pass was purchased before the child's date of birth.
6.13.1 Right of return on lift tickets: We adhere to the Norwegian Alpine Resorts and Mountain Destinations (ALF) guidelines for the alpine industry. For more information about refunds, contact Tyin Filefjell Skisenter in writing at booking@tyin.no
6.13.2 Reimbursement in the event of illness or injury
In the event of illness or injury, the cardholder will be entitled to a proportional refund of the card expenses for the time the card could not be used. The injury or illness must be documented by a doctor's certificate upon request. The ski pass must be returned to the ski center as soon as possible.
6.14. Bad weather, bad snow and/or technical problems: The customer must assess the weather and snow conditions themselves based on their own skiing skills. If you are unsure about the weather and snow conditions and operating status, follow the updates on open slopes and lifts at www.Tyin.no, or contact employees before purchasing a lift ticket. Please note that weather and conditions can change quickly, and that information is for guidance only.
7. SKIING SAFETY
7.1. Skiing rules: When you purchase a lift ticket at Tyin Filefjell ski center and/or use the ski resort, you agree to follow the Skiing rules, developed in collaboration with Norwegian Alpine Resorts and Mountain Destinations, ALF. Violation of the skiing rules may result in expulsion from the resort.
– It is important that you wear a helmet, show consideration for other skiers and snowboarders and follow the ski regulations. It should be safe to ski with us, and then we all have a responsibility for our own skiing.
– Responsibility to avoid injury: You must behave in such a way that you are not a danger to yourself or others. You must have the necessary control over your ski and snowboard equipment at all times. You are responsible for preventing the equipment from causing damage to people or other property.
– Adjust your speed to the conditions: You must drive in a controlled manner, adjusting your speed and driving style to your skill level, terrain, road conditions and traffic.
– Duty to yield: Anyone approaching from behind (from above) is responsible for driving in such a way as not to expose others to a collision.
– Overtaking/going downhill: You may overtake another skier or snowboarder provided that they are given sufficient space for both controlled and uncontrolled movements. It is prohibited to go straight downhill, except during organized training.
– Starting, driving into or turning uphill: If you drive into or turn uphill on a downhill, you must ensure that this is done without endangering yourself or others. The same applies to driving after stopping.
– Stop on the descent. Unless absolutely necessary, avoid stopping on the descent in tight spots, under overhangs or in places with limited visibility. After falling in such a place, move away as quickly as possible.
– On foot on the descent: If you are on foot, you must only use the outer edges of the slope.
– Ski stoppers/straps: Ski stoppers/straps are mandatory. Check that the bindings are adjusted correctly.
– Respect signs and markings. For your own safety and that of others: follow signs, markings and instructions. Never drive on slopes or areas that are marked as closed – this can lead to accidents, damage to equipment or, in the worst case, death.
– It is forbidden to stay in the ski resort outside opening hours. This can be life-threatening as construction work is underway with snow production and preparation.
– Help in the event of accidents: In the event of injuries, everyone has a duty to help. Witnesses and participants are obliged to provide their personal information. If a guest is injured in the alpine resort, Ski Patrol can be contacted at +47 41 60 20 30. In the event of serious personal injury or accident, you must always contact SOS, tel. 113.
– Alpine skiing is associated with a certain degree of danger, so be careful. Drugs and skiing do not mix.
– Visibly intoxicated persons may be expelled from the facility.
– Boarding and disembarking from ski lifts should only take place in designated areas.
8. LIABILITY, PRICES & RESERVATIONS
8.1. As the organizer, TF is obliged to ensure that the guest receives a written confirmation of their booking and other necessary documents, that they are informed about how payment should be made, and where the key / code can be collected / received, and that the guest is informed about other issues that are important for the event, and that the event matches the description in the confirmation. TF is not responsible for promises that third parties may have made directly to the guest without TF's knowledge, and that TF did not know about or should have known about.
8.2. As the organizer, TF is responsible to the guest for what the guest is entitled to according to the agreement. The responsibility also applies to the tasks that are to be carried out by others than TF. Information in catalogs, brochures and on the website is binding for TF, but can be changed before the agreement is entered into if clear reservations have been made, and the guest is clearly informed of the change. TF makes reservations for any typographical errors, printing errors, publishing or proofreading errors on websites and in other printed information about the offers that the provider provides.
8.3. The accommodation reserves the right to make changes to the price due to increased costs of purchasing goods and services, increased taxes or other circumstances beyond the accommodation's control. The price change shall be immediately notified to the guest.
9. FORCE MAJEURE
9.1. TF and our subcontractors (including accommodation) are not responsible for unsatisfactory weather conditions, closed facilities or other circumstances beyond the control of the facility. Events beyond TF's control, such as strikes, lockouts, fires, etc., which make it impossible to fulfill the obligations in this agreement, give rise to the right to terminate the agreement without liability for damages.
9.2. In the event of events beyond the control of the accommodation, the accommodation has the right to move the tenant to an equivalent, or better, accommodation. Where possible, the tenant shall be informed in advance of such changes. Such changes do not entitle the tenant to refrain from paying for the stay.
10. COMPLAINTS
10.1. Any complaints during the stay must be made to the landlord on site. Please contact him immediately, or no later than 10:00 the day after arrival, so that the defect/error can be corrected immediately and with the least possible inconvenience to the guest. Errors that are first reported upon departure or later will not be compensated financially.
11. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
11.1. The guest is asked to contact the provider if he has any objections to the booked event. If the guest and provider are unable to negotiate an agreement, any dispute regarding a previously entered into agreement shall be resolved in local court.
12. PRIVACY
14.1. When registering personal information, the guest agrees that TF, as the data controller, uses the information to carry out TF's obligations towards the guest. If necessary, it may be necessary to transfer the information to TF's partners, such as insurance companies, hotels, train, airline and bus companies, etc. TF uses the guest's information to provide information, offers and service regarding the guest's booked event via e-mail, telephone, SMS and mailings by post.
